Out by day and night and a photo of a very rare thing!

Ok its that time of year the leaves are turning colour its getting colder, winters on the way, oh and mud! Moms idea, "lets go to an arboretum" she said, well I don't get a say in anything, so I'm packed into the car and end up at this place.

I'll just sit back and let your look at the photo's, but for some reason it was not one of moms best days for taking photos you'll see want I mean. out of focus!!

LOL!!!! BOL!!! that got yea, no it didn't say Butt Pool is said this

I don't know what this is going to be, but it was the start of me getting muddy!

Now can you spot anything about this photo, other than its out of focus

I'm not in it!!! why, I'll tell you why, I was tied up here

mom spotted this sweet chestnut tree shes over there like a flash, dad should  have been looking after me on the lead he's so busy looking for those dam sweet chestnuts, while I'm there jumping around like a cat on a hot tin roof with them spiky things sticking in my feet, I tell yea it was not funny them things hurt big time, what do they go and do, tie me up to a gate post and leave me there!! while they go back and fine some more!!!
The cheek of it!!

Anyways time to get me own back this is a very rare thing, MOM lol!!

This is what I see when I'm posing, I tell yea sometimes I find it hard to keep my face straight. No wonder shes having a hard time taking the photos, no photographer in there right mind would stand like this

Of course I have to thank dad for these photos, but I have to say he has a lot to learn about taking them to

Got a bit of a lean on this one lol!!!

Just time for tea and a ... hang on theres no cake, are we all on diets again!!!

Later the same day, I get bundled back in the car, to a secret place to see a firing of a kiln!
Well spooky it was, and very muddy!!

Out of focus again,

This is the kiln, its full of hand made bricks

Then it was lit

Tony who had made it will stop with it and keep it going with wood until Tuesday

I think dad thought he was warming my ears, this was not the case, I was toastie anyways, it was his legs that were cold!

This is Tony, as you can see he is a wind up merchant, just look at the mud! red clay!

I heard I was getting a bath when I got home, well I got away with me paws being rinsed off in the washing up bowl, but sent to bed with a clod of clay on me butt, mom brushed it out in the morning.

I'll leave you with this photo, taken in my back garden, cus to me it is a better colour than any of the trees we saw at the arboretum, plus its the last photo of me before I go to the groomers.

See Yea George xxx

What a lot of trees George - and I know how dogs love trees!
Your poor paws, fancy making you have all that torture just for a few sweet chestnuts, and then tying you up - what an insult, I'll have to have a word with Mom and Dad for you.
I love the last photo, it shows your sensitive side.
Lots oflove,
Auntie Rose xx

George, are you sure your mom was not hitting the sauce before you guys left the house? I mean, she couldn't even tell that the photos were out of focus and it looks to me like she was having a hard time standing up! Looks like you had a great time in the mud!

Life looks good. Day and Night. In and out of focus. In your part of the world. We like it. And we like the photos.

Two things: We need to learn more about those kilns. And we already know a lot about those spiky things sticking in your feet. We were dancing around with them last night. In the punkin patch. Someday maybe we'll get Moma to show ya some pictures.

Happy new week!
Love ya George

I love the picture of you under the red leaves. And the tree above it is very unusual looking. What kind of specimen is that?

Now why in the world would they cut off your lovely furs, just when it's getting cold, dear Lad???
We swiped that last pic right off your bloggie and put it in the place of honor on our desktop....oh, you are so handsome I can hardly speak...well, that's not true...I always can yap....

We went to the park today too...triple terrier tagged teamed a chipmunk...Scruff and I were at the base of a hollow trunk and Stan had his hooge aire snooter down the top...skeered that chipmunk right out, but we couldn't catch him...too fast!

Now, don't be making fun of your mom taking those pix...our Mumsie has been know to lie right in the dirt on her tummy....

If you want to get rid of that flashy beast, either lick the lens or shake beard juice all over it...stops the pix immediately!

Kisses,

Flappy mouth Lacie

Goodness, George - what a long day you had! Don't think we'd like that walking on prickly stuff. And what was that guy cooking in that hooge fire? A nice grilled steak or a bit of salmon? If he cooks it until Tuesday, it's gonna be too charred to eat, though. We're still waiting for our trees to turn.

George mi man, YOU ARE THE BEST. I was howling with laughter at it is only 4:15am here. My husband is still asleep, and I am here downstairs hooing and hawing at BUTT POND, your displeasure at being tied up, all of your poses, and your humor.

Dearest Jan, your sweet and dear comment last night is so treasured. Kindness is the greatest gift anyone can give a friend, a family member, a creature of nature, a total stranger across "The Big Pond." I have had the pleasure of enjoying many chuckles and precious moments with bloggers like you and their beloved pets. I have a dear, dear friend in the Netherlands whose little illustrated creatures have become real to me, as we converse back in forth in the "voices" of our created characters. Now that is imagination! I so love George and your storytelling. That is a great gift to me,for I so love running away into a land like yours, where you share your love for your homeland and sweet and FUZZY FURIEND!!!

Keep 'em coming dearest, you both are very, very special. And how in the world do you get him to MODEL SO WELL!!!! :)

Peace and love to both of you, Anita and Balzac

OH! I will be sending you an illustration of GEORGE THE LAD...maybe tonight.

Well I think you went to prettier places than me this weekend George! Gail is salivating at the thought of freshly gathered sweet chestnuts, but if they are as prickly on the paws as you say, then I am quite happy that they don't grow this far North.
Hope all goes well at the groomer's George. Looking forward to the 'after' picture!
