Saturday Steps

Steps down to The River Trent and some not so friendly swans.

Mom just wants to say something
"To my US followers, I may be across The Pond but will never forget 9/11"

See Yea George and Jan xxx

Hi George
I have to tell you Gail is going all 'oh wow!' over that picture. Apparently one of her earliest memories if of going down to The Embankment just near Trent Bridge in Nottingham and feeding the swans with bread. I've looked through the old family photo albums and there are some great photos of this duffle coat clad and tartan trousered three year old standing on the steps just like you are there!

Watch out for those swans George. There's an old saying "Pretty is as pretty does." The swans of the world have never heard that. They are nasty!

Uh George, I would back away from the swans. They are beautiful, but can be pretty crabby if you invade their space ...

I hope that you didn't get too close if they're mean! I've never been up close to one, and I thought they were just pretty birds.

We hope that 9/11 will always be a tribute to how humanity refused to be laid low by terror.

Beautiful Photo! We admire your control! If that was Erin she would of been in that water causing such chaos they probably would call the police on us.
Thank's for dropping by and enjoy your weekend!
