Saturday Steps...The Shrewsbury Flower Show

Ok this is a post of two halves, because I was not allowed to go to the flower show, mom and dad took me the week before to have alook at them putting up the marquee's

I'd also like to dedcate this post to my blogging friend

its his birthday on Tuesday 23th.
I will be at his County Fair with my girlfriend Stanzie his sister
He loves gardening and growing veg,

The Flower Show takes place in
Shrewsburys Park called The Quarry,
the River Severn runs down the one side of it, and it has a Dingle.

Its not a wooded one, like others I have been to,
it has the most eye popping flower beds that I have ever seen and the grass is like hair!!! not a weed in site

Told you it was eye popping

Hidden in with all the flowers are rabbits

At one end there is a large pond

This piece of wood spoils the view for me!!!

Lots of nooks and crannies to look around

This is the area where the flower show is going to be

Take note of where I am in this photo, because mom has a photo taken in almost the same place when she was at the flower show,  see if you can spot it.

"OK mom show them the photos"

"OK mom I think that's quite enough photos for one day!! I can see you had a good time"

I need some fresh air and a walk, after that
I'll be back on Tuesday,
to send my birthday wishes to Wyatt

Have a Good Weekend
See You Soon George xxx

^^^I agree with Frankie, those flowers are gorgeous!

I lived in Holland as a kid (my father was in the military) and they hosted this thing every year called something like Keukenhof which is a HUGE garden of all kinds of flowers, every kind you could imagine. We went every year we lived there and were amazed at all the beauty.

George mi man,

EYE POPPING INDEED!!!! Oh dear friend, you came by to sing a little harp music with me UNDER THE MOON....Let's go, UN, DEUX, TROIS....WOOOOOOOOOO....WOOOOOOOOO.....and let's sing to the beauty of the earth and a little jingle to WYATT, your brother-in-law of sorts!!!! WHAT A WONDERFUL PLACE! The vegetables, the fruits, the RABBIT TOPIARYS and the HORSE JUMPING???WHY, OH WHY, do they not allow DOGS INTO THE SHOWS? We have our state fair coming up this week! No dogs allowed either. But FUN FOOD ON A STICK and plenty of farm animals that mum loves to pet. WHAT? AM I NOT ENOUGH FOR HER? She milked a goat two years ago and got a blue ribbon! But the goat almost kicked her 'cause she is a city woman and doesn't know how to milk a goat; she PULLED TOO HARD!

BIG FUR HUGS....BALZAC!
