Saturday Steps!!! Lets Go Walkies

I'm at
doing a sponsored walk for the Guide Dogs.
Some of you might remember me doing one last year

Here's the link to that post

This walk didn't start until 5 in the afternoon, it was a good job it was sooo hot!

When we got to the Car park this van was there

Look Wyatt and my Girl Stanzie was on the back
(I'm sure you two would have a Green sleeve)

  I see him

Its Boomer
"go and say hello George he won't bite"

"Hey George so pleased you could make it, how you doing"
"I didn't think you would remember me"

"course I do, but this time lets just keep together, don't want you picking up a scent and lose your bearing!!"

Bag Pool lol!!

"oh no Water"
"Come on George, Lets cool off"

"No way!!!"

"Look if you get into trouble I'll get you out"

"OK Boomer, I trust you, but I won't go any deeper"

Yes I know I have skinny legs!!

"George keep up"
"You have longer legs than me, so don't have to walk as far"

"look at that tree, is it a tree?"

"I think so George, hey I see Bertie in front of us,
 let me introduce you"

"Hi Bertie nice to meet you"

"You know George he is only five months old and taller than you!"
"I know folks always think I am a puppy Airdale!!"

" I think we made it around in record time"

"I think you are right Boomer, lovely place to come for a walk, I don't think mom took many photos!! thats a good thing in a way, it means we will just have to come back another day.
Thanks for walking around with me, hope we can do it again sometime"

You can talk to Boomer anytime on twitter

and buy his walking book at

I raised £35.00 $56.00 Dollers, for the Guide Dogs,
the walk took just over one hour.

If you live in the UK Click the link on my side bar, its the one that looks like this

See If there is a walk near you, you don't even have to own a dog to go on one of them,
full details are on the site
You can even organise a walk yourself.

"Come on mom with all the walks we do,
I'm sure we could organise one"

I got something else to tell you,
from next week I am having a blogging break.
From the 16th July to 6th August
Don't desert me! I will have posts to go up each Saturday
Plus the July Photo Hunt.
As I won't be going visiting, I am disabling comments for the weeks
I won't be live at the laptop

Have a good week
Till Next Time
See Yea George xxx

Hi George what a great walkie for a worthy cause and as always you did very well as a tour and public relations guide.

We hope you and your peeps have a fantastic vacation. My peeps will be on two different trips during that time too. Not to worry we'd never ever in 1,000 years forget you. We had company all last weekend and our visits were sporadic.

Hi George. You inspire me to go on walkies too. You never know what adventures you'll find. I met a beautiful little doe yesterday. She was no more than 5 feet from me and didn't move an inch. I felt one with nature.

Cheers,
Ruben

I always enjoy your Saturday Steps, George. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you always have such fun places to show us!

There's a deli that I used to pass when my dad was in the hospital and it's called Deli George. What made me notice it is that the sign is upside down. Here's the link for their website: http://www.deligeorge.com/

Thank you so much for your kind comments regarding my father's recent passing. It really meant a lot.

I see you did get your feet wet, George. It probably felt good. Strangely, Kelly loves to swim in the lake, she will go way out over her head. She just doesn't seem to like her little wading pool. Go figure.

We'll look forward to your return after your break! Hugs!!

Hi George!! What a great walk and how cool to have Boomer to walk around with, it looks like you kept charge of the situation though, you have that air about you :-) We'll really miss you when you're away from the 'bloomin' puter' as our Momster calls it, please hurry back but have a wonderful time whatever you get up to, Dex and Lou xxx

How nice of you and your mom, George! That did look like a fun walk (and swim), even though it was too hot. (We didn't know it got too hot for walks where you live - how dumb are we??)

Anyway, hope you have a nice "break" from the blog (we need one, too, we think). No way we could dessert (we mean desert) you.

George! We've missed you! LOTS! And we've missed your walks, too. You always make us feel happy, and get us motivated for a good walk of our own.

Hopefully we've got Moma back on track. Right now we're gonna go read what we've missed these past few weeks.

See ya again soon. We're gonna hold Moma to it.

Dear George,

Tell Dad to keep a stiff upper lip (I don't know why we tell people that; a stiff upper lip sounds like a pain, and we don't need more of that.) Tea Rat laughed himself silly about the train in the tunnel crack. Rattus, not so much.

Always good to hear from you over here at Rattus Scribus.

All the best,

Rattus
