Saturday Steps One Very Wet Day!! Consall Hall Landscape Gardens

Just look at the Rain!!!

The day didn't start off like that.

We took a visit to

Consall Hall Landscape Gardens

This place has loads of steps

More Steps

Even though we all got soaked it was a lovely walk, plenty to see and do, with lots of places to take cover

It just started to rain when we stopping at this one folly

A Folly is a building just for decoration, and this place is full of them

Mom was getting worried about her camera getting wet, so we had to walk back to the car to get the umbrella, just so happened it was nearly dinner time, dad wanted something to eat!!

Oatcakes made from Oakmeal, flour and yeast, its a local speciality in the North Staffordshire area of England, you can have them with any filling but the popular one is cheese and bacon.

Very tasty

Got to have a zoomie to lose the calories I've just eaten,

"going to join me mom"

It's ok for mom she's under the umbella and dad has his waterproof coat on, I have a very thick double coat but I'm wet through to the skin!!!

We visited here back in August so we didn't have Tess she would have been 13 weeks old at the time,

she will be with us when we next visit.
I am slowly making my way around to visiting you, but having a new sister is time consuming so it might take a while!

A charity event organised by Boomerangs Mom and Dad.

All proceeds going to

The Dogs Trust

Mom made over 500 dog biscuilts to sell.

Accidentally Acoustic played

Over £1000 was raised, a round of a paws, lots of dogs will be helped with that donation

"Thanks for your comments on the wordless Wednesday post. Yes George has a sister, the photo was the very first time he'd set eye's on her.

She's just over 5 months old and shares the same Birthday as me!!

She is George's true half sister, they share the same dad. We have been thinking of getting another dog for sometime, having had Colin the WT for the day and ten hour's in a pig pen with Max the show dog and Tilly it confirmed to me that George would be OK with another dog coming into the family.

We picked her up last Sunday, its early days but they are getting on very well, I'm looking forward to her personality coming out. George plays a little to rough with her sometimes but other than that its like she has always been here. You will get to see her on some of George's blog posts but in the mean time I will put a photo or photo's up each week of her on Wordless Wednesday, I'll hand you back to George"
