Saturday Steps The Return To Consell Gardens

I said one day I would take Tess for a look around
 Consell Hall Landscape Gardens.
We all went last month, this time it didn't rain.
But oh the embarrassment of having a sister like Tess!

I was busy posing for this photo both Mom and Dad were watching me, when all of a sudden there's a cry of help from the bushes

She'd fallen off a small wall and landed in the bushes you couldn't even see her.

Then I was posing for this photo

next thing we heard a plop and a splash!!

she was in one of the ponds!!

She was sniffing in all the bushes

Wouldn't pose for photos!!

"Hang on George I was just enjoying myself, I thought that's what you do on a day out, and if I remember right it was you that sent  that photo of me trying to get out of the pond to
Roo for the Sports Bloopers in The Blogging Games"

"Yes your right Tess, I did sorry"

"Tess we all love you, just for being you, I would be lost without you"

"I think folks are waiting to see the photos"

Thank You
 Consell Hall Landscape Gardens
for a great day out and making us dogs welcome.

Here's a link to the first time I visited
One Very Wet Day

Have a good week

OH George and Tess you have the most PAWFECT mixture of FUN and Beauty in this post. I love the Brick Wall with the "HOLE" in it.
THAT is really INTERESTING.

Those photos are amazing! Wish we had a place like that to visit around here.

Tess, you should have been born a Weenie Dog. I thought only Weenies got into trouble the way you do!

:o)

Oh George! I laughed all the way through the first half of this post! I understand what it's like to have a little sister. They can really be trying at times. The photos of the gardens are lovely, but truly George, I read this blog to see the photos of you and Tess. You'd look cute on a solid dirt background. lol

These pictures are absolutely magical! So nice to see all this green (and you two adorable doggies)! We are in the midst of a drought and everything has turned brown.

Your pal, Pip

That is a nice to place to visit.
We think that Tess just loves being in water...it must be all the swimming she does. Perhaps her new name could be Miss Chief :-)

Cut Tess a little slack. Not everyone can be a natural model like us!

You know, George, Tess was just being...well, Tess. It's OK. You have some really gorgeous places to see at Consell Gardens and a little 'oops' at the beginning is just the way it is. At least, that's how I look at it. Except I saw a really inviting mud-puddle part way through. Tess? That's a good wallow spot. You have to keep your furs wet throughout the entire walk in order to keep going...at least that's my theory.

What another wonderful adventure. The gardens are like a fairytale. I love that you always end your fun day with a good bite to eat! Glad to see you survived Miss Tess, you seem to like to follow the road less taken!

Another beautiful and stunning place to visit and what lovely pictures too!!

George, my dogs totally understand about the little sister--They all have a little Scottish Terrier brother that is our 'comedy relief!'

And Tess adds some spice to the adventures, doesn't she?

Hi George and Tess!

I've only just realised I haven't seen your posts for a while... they haven't shown up in my blogger list, I'll have to take a look at it!

I haven't been to Consall Hall for a long time so it was nice to see your photos. My parents went to a wedding there last week and said it was really nice. I saw you not long ago when I was looking through my national trust magazine and enjoyed your feature in the back!

Thanks to mom for her comments on my post. I'm not sure about dogs at Jodrell but I think it's only guide dogs allowed. Thanks for the birthday wishes and for checking out my 365... I'm struggling at the moment with school hols, bad weather and things but we're off on holiday next week so that week should be easy!

Now George I don't know if you'd get lost without Tess butt you sure wouldn't have as much fun or be near as entertained ;)

Great steps! Wow Wow Wow at all those amazing photos of the beautiful gardens. Just amazing. The one that most captured my attention was the one with you two venturing down the cobble stone path with the columns on either side and beams overhead. Luved the color contrasts and blue hues on the columns. Great photo framing! :D

Waggin at ya,
Roo
