Saturday Steps.....A WELTAF Walk

Well at least I'm in focus

We are members of WELTAF which stands for
 Welsh Terrier and Friends
Members can put forward walks from anywhere around the country.
So we put forward Boomer's Historical Walk around Ironbridge.
You never know until the day how many Welsh Terriers will turn up, Lets have a roll call

OK Boomer's not a WT, but its his walk and he lead us around

"Opps sorry didn't get your name"

"Tess whats his name?"
"Sorry George did think to ask!! he was very nice"

Last but not least my mate Jenkins, good to see you again

That's 12 if you count me and Tess, we wanted to enjoy the walk with our friends so mom didn't take photos on the day of all the places of Historical interest because we've blogged about this walk before.
But I have put together a whistle stop tour of the places we past

The Jackfield Tile Museum

Maws Craft Museum

Can you see Flat Stanzie, love you
We stopped at The Boat Inn

Check out the flood door!

Mmmm, got myself some Guinness froth

Up the foot bridge that takes you over the river

The Great Hay Inclined Plane.
It was used to carry small barges up and down from the Shropshire Canal terminus at Blist's Hill down to the River Severn.

We walked along this foot path passing
The Coalport China Museum
"Frankie" mom's not forgot about taking FG around : )

On to The Silkin Way

Under The Inclined Plane

Through a long tunnel

Down into the woods with loads of steps

Stopping at The Robin Hood Inn for a drink and a rest

Colin turned up for a drink

A very kind barman came out and give us all milky Bones

This is Frank, he was just passing and couldn't believe he eye's seeing all us, he lives local so might meet him again

Boomer thought it was time to make a move

Passing The Bedlan Furnaces

Ending the walk at The Ironbridge

Thanks to all my WELTAF friends for coming to walk around with me and Tess

Thanks Boomer for walking us around, I gave him my 4 Paws Award that I awarded him last week

"Say good bye Tess, you don't look to happy what's the matter?"
"I'm just sad its over, hope we can meet them again soon"

"Kisses from Me, Tess xxx"

I'm sad its over to
Have a good Week
See Yea George xxx

Wow, we were there a couple of years ago. We went to the Robert Harrop museum and they let us in with Amber and Annie and said they were the first dogs to be allowed in.
Ironbridge is such a lovely place and we went through that long tunnel too. The walk seemed to go on forever:-)
You know I love you Welshies. I bet you had a fab time.
I think I'm going to buy Boomer's book.

Love from me and Amber and Annie xxx
