The town next to us is........

For goodness sake Mom, tell me. She went a bit quiet, and then owned up that she didn't really know where the name come from, " What you mean, you don't know where it came from" I was gutted, I'm not named after one of Moms friends, someone famous, a king, a flag, a town. This can't be right. Well its taken a couple of days but I think I've found the answer.
My bedroom is a crate, I love it, its my bit of space that's my own, and am happy for the door to be shut at night, and its in Mom and dads bedroom. The only other time I am allowed into the bedroom is when shes putting the washing away. If I'm quick I like to jump up and down on the bed. This time my peepers caught sight of something.

Do you see what I see?

Take a closer look

Shes wearing my name on her every day!! I've been on the pootie to see why she didn't pick up on this, and found out that peeps can get subliminal messages, your eyes don't see it, but your subconscious does, I also looked up where the clothes came from, it turns out its where mom does her food shopping! The clothing range is called George at Asda, my names all over the shop, and outside.

That's where I think she came up with my name, seeing it every time she's shopping and getting dressed in the morning. What do you think?

For my American bloggie friends Asda is owned by Wal-Mart so if your a shopper there, see if you can see my name.
Infact I've just come up with an idea.  If  any of you are out and about and see my name anywhere take a piccy and I'll put it on my blog. Send your piccys to jan3bells@googlemail.com

See Yea George xxx

Great story about your name. My human momma tells me that I kind of took the place of her best friend George who died before I came to keep her company. She doesn't know where my name came from, says it just popped in to her head or something. Or maybe cuz she liked to keep me tucked close to her all the time.

By George! That's a lot of George's. Have you noticed George the more often you write George the more the spelling looks wrong?

Of course you are the Best George I know, even better than George Best.He was a bit of a lad like you. Was that George on your list? S'pose George you're lucky your Mom doesn't shop at Next or worse - Primark. imagine being called that. I'll take my wag on a walk this week and look for your namesake.

Wiry Loves Eric xx
