Saturday steps A Walk Around A Field

But not any old field

Its a Battle Field

"Well Georgie I'm none to impressed so far, looks like a good field to have a run in"

Just excuse Tess she seams to be the kind of girl that likes to voice her opinion

The Battle of Shrewsbury took place here in 1403 between the rebel army led by Sir Henry Percy and the Royal army of Henry IV, Percy lost.

"its quite nice here, just a little windy"

Coming up to St Mary Magdalene Church

"Tess, I say TESS mom wants you to pose just like me for a photo"

"I think that's a no then mom!!!"
"I heard that Georgie my hair's a mess with all this wind, a photo is the last thing I want!"

I tell yea shes got a lot to learn, does is look windy to you?

Only a little bit Bol

"Georgie its not funny people are going to think I have ears that stick up, that's just is not the case!!"

"I can't even keep my eyes open, how can they have had a battle here when its so windy, their arrows would have been all over the place?"

"Tess that was years ago, the weather changes in places all the time, I have to say this rates as one of the windiest walks I have ever been on, it must be nearly your tea time, stick with me and I'll make sure you are always OK"
"Thanks Georgie, your turning into the bestest brother a WT could want"

Opps sorry I forgot you were there, I just got carried away talking to my sister, its great having company on my walks, she can be quite funny at times, this walk turned out to be just a walk around a field so not many photo opportunities, but the wind more than made up for it lol

Have a good week
See Yea George xxx

A Small Paw note-
Wyatt my blogging friend came up with an idea of Tuesday Tess, so Tuesdays I will let Tess do a blog post, most of them will be just photos just like wordless wednesday, but if she want to voice her opinion she can.

Yes, we're still laughing here about the windy fotos. Tess doesn't want to be seen with messy hair! What girl does?

Henry IV, huh? Is that four Henry's before Henry VIII???

Hee hee, you both look so darn cute with the wind blowing your fur, ears and muzzles.
We are looking forward to Tuesday Tess.
Oh, we posted about Waldo the Welshie, we met on our walk. What a charmer. Stanzie flirted with him, but she was thinking of you, George.

Love the wind blown look .... it doesn't happen to Labs with their smooth coats, although ears do stand up occasionally! You sound like a very kind and caring older brother. Tess is very lucky to have you around to show her the ropes.

It's windy here a lot. I hated it for a long time but now I'm pretty much used to it.

I like the idea of Tuesday Tess - we'll all get to know her a little better.

I think Tess Tuesdays are a great idea, and somehow, I get the feeling that Tess might have a lot to say. It definitely looks quite windy! I'm no fan of bad ear days, although I am lucky I don't have to worry about messed up fur!

OMD...we didn't know about Tess!!! Oh, George, she's adorable...I can babysit and teach her about makeup and boyz and oh she's a darling. Looks like your tutoring her quite well...for a boy dog. I can certainly make some suggestions for nosecara and nail color...

Kisses and thank you for the history lesson!!

What an interesting field, George. Thanks for the little history lesson. I always love those. Be patient with Tess; she'll probably catch on eventually. Big brothers have such a burden of responsibility of their shoulders!

Oh I think I am going to enjoy hearing more from Tess. But George, I do hope she's not going to turn into one of those vain supermodel 'won't get out of bed for less than a thousand pounds' types of girl. I think you do need to warn her that if she's going to share in your blog, she need to learn to be more tolerant and flexible about having her picture taken!

You both look adorable with the wind in your fur. We're so used to seeing you as an only child and center stage, George. But we're finally getting accustomed to seeing you share the spotlight with your sis. You make an adorable pair :)

Cheers!
