Hi George, I'm presuming that's why they called that new part of town Apley? Looks like it's a crying shame that the old house is no longer there, but of course if it was you wouldn't be able to visit such a lovely place. I love those 'seats', do you think I could get one in my garden? LOL!

Thanks for the tour of a beautiful place, George. I agree with you. Somehow, chainsaw art and "Dune" sculptures don't fit the historical legacy of the former Charlton estate.
But it was a picturesque walk just the same. (And crispy duck does sound delish. Shhh.)
