Helmsley, Rievaulx Abbey, Rievaulx Terrace & Temples

We were getting to the end of our holidays and still places on our list to visit. Thursday three places!!!
Helmsley
 Rievaulx Abbey
Rievaulx Terrace and Temples

I have a tip, before going out for the day check you have batteries and that they are charged up. Silly Mom had left two batteries for the SLR back at the holiday let as she had forgotten to charge them up over night. We get to Hemsley, take one photo and the SLR died!! No worries we have the point and shoot with us, get that out to find the batteries almost out to!! Don’t worry mom says I had a spare. The problem was the batteries don’t last that long. Would we have enough charge to last the day?
Well we did on the very last photo the flashing light came on. Good timing I say.
So its thanks to the carry me anywhere camera for letting us show you the photos of our day.

Links at the bottom of the post the tell you better about the places than I could possibly do

Just love the Queen and corgi.
But one tip George. Salad really isn't worth bothering with. Hold out for sausage or cheese.
Toodle pip!

GEORGIE AND TESSIE AND DAD AND MOM!

I have missed everyone in Blogland; my best friend from high school was here for an entire week and we too had a happy holiday with her. Now I am back in Blogland and you are the first friends that I come to see.....what a magnificent showcase of the BEST OF ENGLAND, you two! GEORGE MI MAN, I looks as if you had an encounter with an Airedale???? And those giant straw rabbits????? What fun! TESS, I see you are walking about with hopefully no problems?

MAGICAL, WONDROUS and so welcoming to see this beautiful space. I LOVE YOUR NEW HEADER/BANNER!

Many hugs to you all, Anita
