Saturday Steps...Shrewsbury Folkie Festival

Thats where I was all last weekend, with a load of Folkie's

Here's base camp

Not far from where we camped was the second main tent,
you can see it on this photo,
how I held back from howling at the sound checks I don't know,
my head had a mind of its own first left then right!!

I was only to pleased when they gave it a rest,
so I could catch up on some sleep

Mom being mom took loads of photos, but I'm only letting her just put some on my blog post.

Oh these are our local Morris Men and ladys
You'll see more of them later.

OK lets show you the folkie dogs, as this is a dog blog

All having a good time

I thought we could have some fun and games,
do you know of the books
Where's Wally, well the next five photos are called
Where's Welshie

On to the next game.
 Spot the difference.
Back to a photo of The Ironmen and Severn Gilders.
There are 10 things missing on the second photo,
 can you spot them,
I'll show you where they are at the end of this post

If you enjoyed the games let me know I might add them in a post now and again
I had a lovely time and every one I met was so nice to me.
Thanks for a Great Folkie Festival Shrewsbury
This weekend in blogland The Back to School Bash is on, I tell you this is big, loads of bloggers are taking part, I'm in some of the events, but if you stop by

The Mayor of Blogville Mr Frankie Furter
Or
Sarge Speaks out  Chief of Police

They will have the full list up
Have a good week
See Yea George xxx

Did you find then all?

Oh, that would have been so much fun to attend!! I hope you had a great time. You need to teach manners to that German Shepherd mix. He needs to mind his own business. ;-) (I always notice what Shepherds are doing). So fun to see you, George.

The only item I missed was the buttons on the man's shirt on the left side of the picture. I love that game! The Washington Post (our main newspaper for the US capitol) does one of those photo games every week in the Sunday edition.

GEORGE MI MAN!

OK now son, with my old eyes and mum's eyes...between the two of us old farts, we were unable to locate the WELSHIES. NOW. I did locate those missing items on this last game!!!!!

THAT WAS FUNNNNNNN! KEEP IT US GEORGE...I love seeing what British people do out there. Why do these men paint themselves? What do the red costumes mean?

It is so fascinating! THANK YOU SON, and you are seizing the day! CARPE DIEM! Summer is still on your agenda, but with mum going back to school to teach, it is starting to feel like fall now. ENJOY THE FUN MI FRIENDS!!!!

Hey there Bro',

You get to go to the coolest places don't ya!! I wish we could go to places like that - but here they wouldn't let us fur types in! Grrr! I loved your base camp - it looked comfy in there! So much to see and do, and I noticed the yummers food stands too! I found you in all the "Where's Welshie" shots - but it wasn't easy!! Sorry that you had a little rain, but it didn't stop the fun huh??

See you at the PAWm, Dex is taking me (*swoon*) and we are sharing a Limo with Louis and Tessa.

That festival looks like a fun time. We see there was no swimming. However, if there is no pond or lake, rain will do nicely and we see there was some of that!

Love the games! Boy, were you hard to find in picture one...maybe because Dad fooled me by wearing a hat! LOL.
Gave up after finding only 5 differences, but I'm just getting old with a short attention span ;o)

OK, I'm going to give a shot at playing "Where's Welshie".

Yuk, yuk, yuk. Here goes. You are:
1. under the chair
2. in front of a running boy
3. jumping up to dad
4. sitting under the picnic table next to dad
5. under a picnic table, under a man with a blue fleece vest with his back to us.

Whew! My brain has been taxed to the limit. OK, so if I win, do I get like a picture of you officially pawed by you?

All the best,
Ruben

Hi George - thanks for dropping by my blog - you have such a busy time (like us!). And your Morris dancers look a lot like ours too. Hope you can come on holiday to Yorkshire - maybe we could meet up :-) There are lots of things for a dog (and humans) to do round here and plenty of dog friendly places. Love from Magic x
