Saturday Steps and an Old House

Mom and Dads getting their money worth out of
 The National Trust.
This is Sunnycroft, in Telford Shropshire
A Victorian middle class family house, its unique because the inside is as it was all those years ago.

We waited out side while mom went in to take some photos and find out about it

"Oh no you weren't allowed to take photos!!! how will we know what its like inside?"
"don't worry George I'm pretty sure I can find a link on the Internet when we get home"

Oh well lets show you the outside

Chickens and one Cockerel

Thats a mighty fine head peace you have!!

A carcoon !!! thats what it said on the sign
  • Isolate from the constantly changing temperature and humidity of the ambient environment.
  • Stabalize by removing excess moisture, fuel/oil vapor and other contaminates from within the mini environment.
  • Ventilate using the patented Active Airflow Concept.
  • Circulate isolated circulation within using Activated Carbon Filters under pressure.

"Hey mom you could do with one of them for your Motorbike!!"

"Dad come on lets have a game with them skittles"

"You throw it I'll catch"

"Not so fast, I missed that one!!"

"aren't you supposed to hit the skittles not me!!"

" Hang on these balls are made out of wood!! I don't want to play any more I might chip a tooth!!"

"come on pass us some!!"

Mom's flower photos!!

And a Tree!!!

A walk back down the driveway though the Red woods to the car

Mom's found a link so you can see the inside and find out about its owners over the years.

I'll be back in the week with this months Photo scavenger hunt
Till next time
See Yea George xxx

I didn't read the story in the link but I looked at the pictures and wow, that's pretty cool they kept it the same as it was all those years ago.

So I want to play Pip's game and win the prize but I'm not sure what the answer to his last question is. The last question is, Who is Pip's biggest nemesis? I thought it was the rabbit because now Pip can no longer go into the living room. But the hint was that it relates to George the Lad. So now I'm really confused?! Can you help me with this one?

Well George my mom would go totally NUTS over that Green House thingy.

I am glad that you didn't chip a tooth playing Skittles. It looked like your dad is pretty good at that game.

Lovely Post... esp. the bright yellow flowers.
OH and YOU, of course.

Hey George, mum laughed at your mum's comment today. Yea..... I sometimes get too carried away with bugs and sticks to notice flowers and plants!! But mum loves all that nature stuff.

Another lovely place to visit.... and I liked your skittles game and hope you didn't break any tooth pegs!!

The bit I like the most was the picture of the CAKE!!!! I noted it was NOT chocolate so hope you got some!! ;-)

We love waking up on Saturday morning to your reliably smiling face.
That skittles game looked interesting. I think I would be pretty good at running around and knocking over the skittles (that is the point, isn't it?).

Hi George - us again! Thanks for dropping by, tell your Mum that yes, we have had good practise at pulling a face like the Drontal ad, in fact we think he copied us!! Dexter is very good at it and the human keeps trying to get a photo but he moves his face - he's such a poser, I'm told I look like I'm doing an Elvis impersonation with a lip curl when it gets caught in my beard! Bye for now, Louis x

I'm always fascinated by the beautiful places that you visit.
And the photos of your mother always better. They have professional quality.
Also, I'd rather eat a piece of cake, as playing with a wooden ball. You're doing right, my friend george.
Lots of love

Hi Georgie ... it's been awhile since I've come for a visit. I think you've grown since I was last here. I do get so terribly jealous when I visit your page because I sooooo want to come and live in England for a little while. Yes, you heard me right; give up the warmth & sunshine of Australia for a bit of the beautiful English countryside ... plus that cake & tea look ever so good :-)
