Saturday Steps and............A..........

No walls where hurt in the taking of this photo!!

Yes thats right it my day
 St Georges Day

But do you know who the other St George was, he was the bloke that slayed a Dragon!!
None of your bunny hopping, bird chasing, squirrel bashing a Dragon would you believe!!

Anyways he stands for courage, chivalry, charity
 and for slaying a dragon

Just like this!!

This is the flag of St George which is The England Flag,
(The real one dosen't have England written on it!! its there for folks that don't know their flags!)
You might see it in other places, 'cus he's not just the patron Saint of England
If you would like to know more about him here's a LINK

So there it is in a nut shell.

Lets get onto the fun bit.
You have been sending your photos in with places that have my name on.

Thank you Madi and Mom

Thanks to mom's friend Angela, these were taken in Cardiff

Thank You FG and Downunder Daisy

Thank You Auntie Rose, Second Hand Rose

From my girlfriend Stanize cus I'm her Knight in Shining Armor
Love you loads.......Stanize xxxxx
You can see her sometimes on Wyatts blog posts

Ok I know I'm no Saint, so here's one with just George on

Mom still won't own up that she got my name from this place, and if you are wondering about the other photos well the next town to us is called,
 yes you guessed it

St Georges
It was real funny watching mom and dad take those photos, driving around in the car, mom was shouting stop, there's another one and would take a photo out of the car window!!! it looked like we where under cover agents, I'm surprised the police weren't called!!

Happy St Georges Day

Look, I'm out of focus!!
mom says  she was trying to get the bottle in focus!
"Mom the bottles not in focus"
This is what is says on the bottle

Before I go, most of you think I just set a pose for the camera,
well, true to my terrier characteristics
 I'm no Saint

So just this once, for your enjoyment here are some out takes!!

I have some announcements

The Big Birthday Bash....Celebration of Life
Is going on at Ronnii's Ramblings I'll see you there later
Ronnii lost her brother Richie to the bridge on Monday, fun free dear Richie and give Molly Pops my love.

I'd like to wish Andi from Andi's English Attic a Happy Wedding Anniversary she has just got the cutest Welsh Terrier puppy called Elsie.

Antia's Birthday from
Happy Birthday Antia
Thanks for letting me join the sisterhood on your Birthday.

Plus I nearly forgot its Easter!!!
So a Happy Easter to all of you

Happy St. George's Day, George. My Grandpa who I never met was named George. My Moms say he was no saint either, but could be a lot of fun. I have to woof that some of your outtakes are actually very nice pictures in themselves. It sure looks like you know what you'd like to do with the contents of that bottle. I guess it's from hanging out in the pubs. You're a worldly fellow for your age, aren't you? You're still way, way cute, though.

Happy St George's Day!! Thanks for giving us a history lesson about it.
You really ARE a knight in shining armour, and I loved the way you tackled the dragon with your mighty jaws (something St George definitely didn't have!!!)

Run George....that dragon is YOURS!!! Make St George proud.

Love all the pictures....especially the one of you with your tongue out looking at the beer.

Hope you get a pork pie and beer and get in some Morris Dancing.

Okay, those outtakes were PAWSOME! Though some were good enough to be in the final cut if you ask me. Like the one trying to drink the beer and then the "whoa is me" look after you couldn't. So cute!!

Happy St. George's Day! This is a wonderfully fun post and we LOVED the outtakes, too! We think you should be the spokesdog for St. George's Glory, especially with your dragon wrangling skills!
And, ACK, again! What are we? Doofuses? Don't know what we were thinking with the Wheaten Terrier. We knew it didn't look like you, but we got our W's all mixed up. We shall remove the bugger poste haste and demand that Gemini Studio create a WELSH Terrier and name him George! :)

Thanks for checking out my new header photo! Believe it or not, my boys pose like that all the time, leash free. I take several shots to be sure I have open eyes and pleasant expressions. They seem to "get" the whole posing thing, especially Wilson. Jimmy prefers not to look at the camera but does eventually. I work on sit/stays alot so they get lots of cookies for being good boys. It transfers over to the photo-shoots quite well.

Thanks for a great blog post. I can't decide if I like you best waving the flag or slaying the dragon. I think I like 'em both equally.

You hang on to that dragon, George.

Oh, we meant to get at least ONE photo of a local something with "George" upon it; shoot! Nice post - love the outtakes of you and the beer. ;) Oh, we found out that the patron saint of Wales is David (or Dewi in Welsh). We wonder if there's anything in Wales with "Dewi" written on it? Maybe one day we'll come across the pond to find out. :)
Happy Day!
