Bertie's Field Trip.

Bouncing Bertie is having a field trip and would like furiends to come along, but  there is a twist in the T'ale, he want's evdence that you are well prepared for field work in Scotland!!
Check out his post for suggestions that might get you on the trip. I have picked up on this one,
"Maybe you have some photos illustrating that boulders, cliffs, mountains and midges are totally your thing"

So here goes why I think I'm up to it.

Adverse Weather conditions, from a pup

I Can Read Maps and Sign Posts

Tidy up after meself, drink out of a bottle, no need to carry a bowl!

As you all know, Love Steps of all Shapes and Sizes

Bridge's of all Shapes and Sizes

Can cope when the Unexpected Happens, no tail down here!

Climbed a number of hills, OK only hills not Mountains!!

The Wrekin

The Stiperstones Twice!!

Lilleshall Monument
more about this one later in the week

After Steps Rock Climbing is my other favorite pass time

What do yea say Bertie, Please can I go on your field trip

Pleasesssssssssss, I'll give the midges a miss if you don't mine!!! and promise to leave the beer at home : (

Waiting to hear George xxx

By the way, a while back on the post "All Change", I said that I'm using google reader, to follow you, I may not comment on all posts but do try and read them. Well over the weeks  thought it funny that some of you had not done any  posts!! so checked, it seams it does not pick up all blogs! it might be something on the setting I need to do, but I've gone back to the dashboard.
Thought I'd just bring it up in case you might be having the same thing happen.

You might have noticed I'm now on Fuzzbook, so if you'd like to get a bit more close and personal with me!!, come be my friend.

See Yea George xxx

Wow George you certainly do qualify for the field trip in my opinion. You've been in some very high places. And you certainly seem to be very brave. Way to go.

George, I'm sure you are well qualified to go on Bertie's field trip. Maybe even be his assistant if he needs one. I got very distracted by that adorable puppy close-up, though. I didn't know you then, but now I'm going to have to look at some of your first posts. The cuteness overload is overwhelming, but such fun.

I think I miss posts, too, sometimes. I also can't comment on all of them anymore. Just too many. An embarassment of riches, if you will.

lotsa licks, Lola

Wowser George........you have been to sooooo many fantastical places! I am amazed by your climbing abilities (and your humans too!!)

My momma keeps trying to use da Google reader.....and her must be old fashioned, or a dummy or sumthing. Cuz her just can't get da hang of da Google Reader setups! We keeps going back to da Blogger Reading settings. Maybes someone needs to give a tutorial on using Google Reader for da Blogs!

I see no reason for Bertie to turn down that smilin face! I've always thought you were a total cutie but that puppy picture... OMD! There is more cuteness there than my MOm can handle. You shoulda heard the noises she was making. Well, actually its a good thing you didn't cause I woulda been all embarrassed!
I have a horrible time keeping up with blogs anymore and I feel bad about it but, like Lola, it is a good problem to have ;o)

Oh George, this may be a journey that I can't join you on - I don't care for climbing stairs, hills, or cliffs. What can I say, my back legs are just not what they used to be. I always enjoy your pictures and OMD were you the most adorable puppy!

Your pal, Pip

P.S.: I am on fuzzbook and will look you up!

Well. If your qualifications don't serve as sufficient reason for admission to Bertie's Field Trip, that last picture will. It's PRICELESS!

George, great pictures!! I love high rocks to climb. Mom can't hike anymore because she hiked a mountain once a few years ago and got totally lost. The rangers had to come fetch her..thank goodness she had her cell with her! She was very embarrassed! We have been having some problems again on Google. Yesterday it said we were following nobody and then it said we had no account! Strange! Lots of love, Holly and mom

Hi George. I thought about you a lot yesterday and today. I"m in viginia, USA returning Bonnie the corgi to her mom. Nearly everywhere I looked there was a "George"--George Washington, that is! But I kept forgetting to take a photo! Maybe tomorrow!

Well done George, I can see that you are AWESOMELY well equipped to join my field trip. Cold weather tolerance, map reading, agility in climbing, apparent familiarity with heather dominated ecosystems I could go on. In fact, Gail and I are so impressed by this post that we have decided, under certain conditions, you are allowed to bring along your own private supplies of your favourite English beers! The conditions are a follows (1) You don't tell any of the other students (2) You bring only the very best quality ale (3) You share generously - but discreetly - with Gail and me and (4) beer drinking is NEVER accompanied by folk dancing. Agreed?
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
PS We are wondering how many pint you had before that last photo was taken.....

Mi Man Goerge.....YOU ARE SO FUNNY! How do you make that gorgeous smile of yours? :) You just make me howl with laughter dearest one, and WHAT IS A MIDGE??? We American dogs out here do not have the same kind of terrain as you have out there.....I WANT TO GO ON THE FIELD TRIP,but I need to train first....mom only takes me on flat leveled streets and I don't know if I can climb a hill, but bridges are my specialty!!! BIG I GOTTA BRING AT LEAST A SIX PACK OF BEER! Have a great day son, Balzac and Anita

My dear George, if anyone is experienced enough to go it is you, and with that dazzling smile who could say no? I think the midges'll get to Mom and Dad far more than they will to you though....here speaks the voice of experience!

George, we bet you are even more qualified than Bertie. surely your application will be at the top of the accepted pile.

We do Google Reader and we have a couple of blogs that have gone private and they don't appear in GR now, and once in a while we notice a couple that don't show up even though we added them. But we just keep adding them over and over and eventually it seems to work.

Of course I'll be on the field trip. Sort of. I'm hoping to drive the bus as I don't do rain. You can leave your bribery case of beer for Gail and Bertie in the side boot. Be perfectly safe with me laddie.
